

Chicken Liver Pate Recipe

Ingredients
- - Chicken Liver : 1lb
- - Bacon : 1/2 lb
- - Garlic : 1 clove
- - Onion : 1 large
- - Ground Mustard : 2 tsp
- - Salt : To taste
- - Pepper : To taste
- - Milk : Splash
- - Sherry : 1 tablespoon
Instructions
1 - Clean livers of sinews and gall.
2 - Put into a fireproof casserole with all other ingredients roughly chopped.
3 - Season and cover with milk.
4 - Put the lid on the casserole and cook in a slow oven (300ºF) for 2 hours.
5 - Liquidize in a blender.
6 - Adjust seasoning.
7 - Add sherry or brandy.
8 - Put in a dish and cover with melted butte.
